Dana Petroleum Norway AS
- Dana Petroleum Norway AS
Acquired by the Korean National Oil Corporation in 2010, our ambition is to grow to become a leading international oil and gas company operating in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We will invest more than $5 billion over the next five years to more than double the size of the company and create value for our shareholders.
Dana Petroleum Norway AS is located at Lilleaker, Oslo and has currently 22 employees. Our business in Norway is focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Through APA and licensing rounds, farm-ins and asset swaps, we have built a portfolio of some 25 NCS licenses, of which we operate three. Including production from the Jotun field, we run a successful business with an annual production of 1,700 barrels of oil per day. We also have a 10% interest in the Fulla discovery being evaluated for development. Our strategy is to grow through further investments in our drilling program. We plan to be part of drilling four exploration wells in 2012, and to participate in both the APA and the 22nd licensing rounds. See www.dana-petroleum.com for further details.
