Our client is looking for a Product Line Manager with extensive experience in Gas Engines to be based in Houston, Texas Organisation Directs the day-to-day sales and service of gas engine components and repairs. Job description - Performs direct sales 70% of the time; - Supports sales and service personnel in the field regarding technical and commercial questions; - Supports the Parts Coordinator in the branch regarding technical part questions; - Working together with the product factories, provides warranty administration for the guarantee period of new installations; - Together with Service Coordinator, established the proper procedures for shop and repair and exchange activities; - Is the in-house gas engine expert; - Reports to VP/General Manager weekly and monthly (as directed) on Business Development matters; - Performs special projects as directed; - Ensures customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability; - Helps develop a culture of professionalism, and open interactive team communication with a focus on a sense of urgency; Requirements - Must be self-motivated, engaged, and energetic; - Proven knowledge of gas compressor engines and compression market; - Proven leadership skills in sales and sales management; - A 4-year college (technical) degree; - 10-15 years relevant work experience; - Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; - Superior level of business acumen and professionalism; - Technical leadership experience; - Exceptional leadership skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills; - Outstanding communication and customer service skills; - Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
