One of the worlds largest and most respected oil & gas operators is seeking a Document Controller to join their Perth based operations in Australia. The successful applicant will be tasked with supporting the records management policies and ensuring all project information flows through to the relevant project personnel in an efficient manner. Job description Accountable and responsible for projects records managment and information flow you will be tasked with the following responsibilities: - Understanding the Engineering data warehouse concept in order to provide training to company personnel; - Ensure all records are classified in accordance to the companies data classification and handling policy; - Register, load and distribute documents into the company records management systems  via a process of validation, transformation and loading; - Provide support to the project document control team based overseas in the project fabrication yard and assist the project document control lead in the process of correct cataloging and storage of hard copy documentation via third party records management providers; - Ensure all records are in accordance with company policies around records management and provide assistance to the project document control team in all records management activities, focusing as a minimum but not limited on the following areas: - Ensure correct classification of project and asset records; - Ensure records are transferred properly into TRIM; - Identifying critical records and ensuring safeguarding.   Requirements - 5 years experience in a document control position within oil & gas; - A track record of problem solving demonstrating a collaborative approach to tackling problems; - Proficient in content management systems i.e. SharePoint; - Experience working on large scale oil & gas projects; - Experience working with multiple stakeholers across various department and disciplines; - Ability to adapt and deliver in dynamic work environment with multiple, changing and sometimes urgent priorities; - Strong organisation skills; - Clear and precise communicator; - A university Degree is favourable but not essential; Please note this position is only open to candidates with full Australian working rights. There is no scope for employer sponsorship with this position.
