Organisation Our client is one of the leading EPIC provider in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry. Job description The ideal candidate is expected to: - Communicate clearly and precisely and follow oral and written instructions; - Understand the need for and adherence to the Permit to Work and Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedures and follow safe working practices; - Have a sound knowledge in the function and use of various test equipment to perform condition monitoring on machinery during commissioning.; - Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project drawings such as Single Line drawings, Block Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings, vendor manual and schematics etc.; - Understand, interpret and work from various forms of project documentation such as the MC/PC Procedure, Tagging Procedure, Punchlist Procedure, As Built Procedure, Vendor Manuals etc.; - Perform Pre-commissioning inspection checks on equipment, as detailed below.; - Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with supervisors, fellow workers and vendors. - Assist in providing training for less experienced personnel; - Good timekeeping practice; - Carry out daily tool box talks (TBT's) with technicians to ensure full understanding of work scope as per PTW; - Fill in “A” and “B” ITR check sheets for the project.; - Participate in Tri-Party walk down during MC hand over.; - Prepare punch list during MC hand over.; - Verification of punch list clearance.; - Carry out construction/commissioning in accordance to the Construction/Commissioning Test Procedures for the Electrical & Instrument as per the responsibility matrix.; - Coordinate between discipline technicians for the construction and commissioning of system.; - Co-ordinate between the yard and discipline techs to ensure most efficient coverage of resources in line with commissioning plan.; - Prepare permit to work and / JSA ‘s for system commissioning; - Liaise and coordinate with vendors during commissioning of vendor package units; - Review and maintain register of all Electrical & Instrument to be used during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.; - Supervision of technicians during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.; - If required, Travel to Offshore Location to perform Pre- Commissionnning and commissioning activity; - Ensure understanding, acceptance and visible commitment to HSE standards by commissioning team members; - Proactively demonstrate a personal commitment to HSE Ensure that MC HSE expectations are properly presented at all meetings with the main scope contractor; - Ownership and review of various Packages as assigned in the system responsibility matrix.; - Prepare report for lead Electrical Engineer on a weekly basis of all Electrical & Instrument  activities related to construction/commissioning on a system by system basis as per responsibility matrix; Requirements The ideal candidate should have following requirements: - Bachelors degree in Electrical or equivalent; - Must have minimum of 10 years of relevant FPSO construction/commissioning experience in electrical and instrumentation; - Knowledge in electrical and instrumentation construction, commissioning, installation sequence of FPSO; - Prior experience in the same capacity; - Must be currently based in Singapore; Offer With over 100 offices in 42 countries, we at Brunel are proud to offer this exciting career opportunity with the industry leader.
