TITLE: Engineering Coordinator
LOCATION: Qatar + Other Locations
DURATION: November 19 to Sep 2022
" Promote & comply with applicable safety instruction and other Company HSE procedures in all activities,
" Carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices,
" Treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality,
" Coordinate the COMPANY dedicated engineering team, conduct daily briefing meeting, act as Company engineering focal point, propose corrective actions as necessary in due course,
" To collaborate with various cross departments in Client to ensure timely FEED CFT preparation and EPC SOW and readiness
" To check that the FEED scope is developed in line with Pre-FEED and Statement of Requirements,
" Actively monitor FEED CFT progress and advise on potential delays, put forward suggestions for improvements in cost and schedule,
" To prepare meetings with potential bidders during various stage of FEED CFT,
" To support in finalization of bid evaluation and selection of FEED Engineer,
" To follow-up the progress of the engineering works performed by the Contractor and the timely issue by the FEED Engineer of the engineering documents, drawings lists and document index according to the approved MDR schedule,
" Ensure consistency between disciplines in Feed and detailed engineering documentation,
" Collate and expedite technical query and derogation responses from engineering team and submit to management for approval. Expedite the discipline leaders to reply to the query/derogation in due time,
" Follow-up the issued derogations from Project level to CMS group by engineering team members,
" Monitor readiness, schedule and coordinate HAZID/ HAZOP/ Project reviews sessions with Client, Contractor, and ensure all necessary technical reviews are planned and executed, and follow-up on actions closure in a systematic manner,
" Follow-up the progress of the engineering works performed by the Contractor, the timely issue of the engineering documents, drawings lists and document index according to the approved MDR schedule,
" Provide engineering and vendor documentation distribution matrix inputs to DCC group and update as necessary along the project execution,
" Ensure effective and timely comments and/or approve via EDMS (PRODOM & NIMS) of the engineering documents by the project specialists.
" Check incorporation of Company comments by the Contractor and vendors into the resubmitted documentation,
" To organise, control and check the inter-discipline co-ordination within project teams,
" To coordinate meetings with the Contractor: weekly and monthly meetings, variation order meetings and ad hoc meetings,
" To collect data prepared by the specialists for the internal weekly and monthly reports, and to prepare the corresponding synthesis to dispatch to MP/Project management,
" To report any anticipated deviations to the initial plan and propose mitigation actions to management,
" To develop within area of responsibility: Project procedures and execution plans,
" To anticipate Potential Change Order and propose to management optimized way forward,
" To perform the Technical Assessment of Change Order Request issued by the Contractor,
" To organize the Final Documentation delivery from the outset of the Contract execution,
" To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
" The Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of the produced water treatment, all these activities could be executed across several international sites. Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities of Client.
" Engineering development of new WHP will take place in Contractor offices, with a potential relocation to Doha (Qatar) during the course of hook-up and completion phases,
" Possibility of multiple worldwide missions with possibility of various contractors' execution centers or vendors visits.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
" Engineering degree from a recognized University in the discipline.
" Graduate engineer with a good level of technical understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, with at least 10 years' experience of engineering team supervision/management on onshore/offshore oil & gas project, knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
" Good knowledge of Client is a plus.
" Strong knowledge of SIMOPS,
" Fluency in English (speaking and writing) with good communication skills, computer literate,
" Strong leader ship skills and good communication skills,
" Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
