Lead Environmental Impact Consultant

Ref: 923272
Salary: Competitive
Location: Aberdeen

A leading international Oil & Gas consultancy is currently recruiting a Lead Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant for its Environmental Management group in Aberdeen.

You'll be part of the Environmental Impact Assessment team, which in partnership with your colleagues in the wider Environmental group will be responsible for supporting Oil & Gas, renewables and marine businesses with environmental management services.

Your specific role as a Lead Consultant within EIA will be to support the delivery of environmental impact assessments and the writing and submittal of impact statements. You'll be responsible for some of the technical writing, however your main focus will be on coordinating and supporting other Engineers on the technical writing, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and on-budget and be a key client focal point, which involves meeting with clients and key stakeholders delivering and discussing impact assessments and reviews.

As a Lead Consultant with this consultancy you'll be an established Engineer out of University, supporting other Engineers and likely to have some project management experience, which will be a requirement for this role. You'll be supporting Oil & Gas projects in the main, however if you've never worked in Oil & Gas and have experience in renewables or marine and have good project management and client facing skills then we'd like to hear from you.

You'll be working for a well-respected consultancy who are currently experiencing growth in all areas of their business, both in Oil & Gas and very much so in renewables. They've recently had strong investment into the business to bolster further growth and this role is a strategic part of that.
