EOR Laboratory Expert (f/m)

Your responsibilities:
  • Scope, execute and evaluate laboratory Chemical EOR &SCAL projects to support and advice Head Office and branch offices
  • Develop and execute laboratory workflows to assess and evaluate EOR processes: Including fluids evaluation, microfluidics and core flooding experiments
    Maintain, upgrade and optimize state of the art EOR laboratory equipment
  • Develop, design and apply state of the art test facilities for EOR- projects (pilot plants)
  • Assure the completion of projects in time, at agreed standards, with full product delivery
  • Advise on best-practice workflow, processes and procedures to internal clients and OMV branch offices
  • Maintain excellent communication / cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentor, train and supervise junior engineers
  • Actively contribute to internationally recognized organizations (e.g. venture partners, authorities, contractors, societies)
Your profile:
  • University degree/ Master in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petrophysics, Physics, Reservoir Engineering or Chemistry with at least 5 years relevant professional experience
  • Relevant laboratory experience performing EOR flooding experiments
  • Profound understanding in chemical EOR processes/applications is desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Good industry awareness and contacts
  • Profound understanding and experience in project management
  • Must be available for occasional travel
