Job Title: Offshore Well Operations Supervisor
Location: Offshore
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
* Provide effective supervision of offshore well operation activities to ensure that objectives and targets are met. Ensuring Permit and Lifting plans are in place for each operation as required.
* Co-ordinate well operations with the activities of other the clients’ teams (e.g. drilling, logistics and production) and contractors supporting the operations.
* Ensure activities comply with; Clients Safety / Environmental / Quality Management Systems, Policies, Procedures, quality / technical standards and relevant statutory / legal requirements.
* Develop and implement effective solutions to well operational problems / issues.
* Provide support to onshore Well Engineers / Completion Engineers or other offshore locations as required to ensure continuity of Well Operations service.
* Ensure that the function and integrity of wellhead, xmas tree and intervention equipment is maintained throughout the execution of programmed activities.
* Assist in specifying and arranging procurement and timely supply of resources; equipment, manpower and services.
* Assist in assurance of the operational effectiveness of all intervention, well and completion equipment through involvement in inspection and witnessing processes.
* Ensure effective use of existing or alternative equipment / materials inventories.
* Assist in the review of work programmes and associated work instructions.
* Assist in ensuring that required; personnel, equipment and services are suitable, competent and available for and throughout the operation.
* Ensure well operations follow approved programmes and that deviations from the agreed programmes are assessed and approved. Also all permits and lifting plans in place prior to commencement of operations.
* Ensure that all well operations personnel are appropriately briefed
* Liaise and interface with the relevant rig / platform / management during the preparation and conduct of well operations and maintain awareness of the impact of other activities on well operations.
* Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of contractors to achieve optimum performance of personnel and equipment.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of well operations, with a view to learning lessons and potentially improving those operations.
* Provide accurate and prompt reporting of well operation activities and operational performance.
* Ensure verification and associated documentation is collated / prepared accurately and promptly.
* Assist with the monitoring of well operations costs in relation to approved expenditure.
* Ensure well operations follow approved programmes and that deviations from the agreed programmes are assessed and approved.

* Provide technical support for the Well Operations team and contractors.
* Assist in development and implementation of improvement initiatives.
* Assist in appraisal and implementation of new equipment / technologies / processes to improve well operations.
* Assist with quality and safety audits relating to well operations activities.
Requirements
* Offshore well operations experience with Specific technical knowledge of completions, workovers, coiled tubing, electric line and slickline work.
* Proven supervisory, planning, communication and liaison skills.
