SENIOR PETROLEUM ENGINEER: STAFF: ABERDEEN
Demonstrate a current and practical knowledge of all aspects of petroleum engineering
Sound knowledge of gas lift well optimisation
Able to work in challenging environments and produce quality output with minimal direction
Has a drive to succeed, ability to 'think out with the box' to provide creative input and
solutions
Ability to take responsibility for planning and delivering high quality projects.
Experience
Essential:
Demonstrable experience in UKCS producing fields in a Petroleum Engineering capacity
Expertise in production optimisation on mature oil fields
Expertise in scale management
Expertise in completion design and well intervention
Experience of leading successful single and multi-discipline projects
Experience with petroleum engineering applications - nodal analysis, material balance
Working knowledge of production operations, production chemistry and reservoir engineering
is essential, as the position involves work within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience of reservoirs
Experience of working offshore in a Petroleum Engineering capacity
Production allocation expertise
Degree qualified - with a relevant degree
Petroleum Engineering degree would be advantageous
