MAR GREENFIELD OPERATIONS LEAD required by our Client, an International Oil & Gas Operator, to be based in London, UK

Provide offshore operational expertise to BLP Greenfield team.
Accountable for HSEA performance of Operations personnel providing additional support to Greenfield team.
Full involvement in definition and acceptance of BLP Safety Case and Emergency Response Plan, Operating and Interface processes & procedures, and Performance Standards.
Full involvement in definition of BLP maintenance and spares strategies.
Responsible for definition and delivery of BLP and Montrose Complex start-up, shutdown and operating procedures and requirements.
Input to pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
Attendance at major Greenfield equipment FAT's.
Maintain close communication with the Operations Readiness & Assurance Manager.

The position of Greenfield Operations Lead is a full time role, which shall initially be based in CB&I's offices in London, later moving to site onshore for the topsides construction and commissioning activities. Reporting to the MAR Operations Readiness & Assurance Manager in Aberdeen, the individual will provide Operations expertise and management within the Greenfield offices. The role shall also ensure that good communications are maintained between the Projects and the Operations Teams within Talisman and offshore. Although it is intended that this position will be onshore based, there will also be a requirement to travel offshore from time to time, to maintain engagement with the offshore teams.

The Greenfield Operations Lead will primarily be involved in the following projects workscopes:

Linked Platform (BLP)
BLP CCR and controls upgrade (ICSS)

Duties shall include:

Provision of day-to-day Project operations expertise within the Greenfield engineering team.
Support the Operations Readiness & Assurance Manager in delivery of the BLP Operations Execution Plan.
Ensure there is a common understanding of existing Project facilities and limitations, and that relevant lessons learned are identified and mitigated against early in detail design and construction.
Work directly with Greenfield HSE team to identify and deliver updates and additions in the areas of health, hygiene, safety, and environment.
Directly involved in the update and submission of the Asset Safety Case, Environmental Statement, EERA and other HSE/OI related documents.
Assist the Operations Readiness & Assurance Manager in building and updating Life of Field OPEX models for Project and the BLP.
Provide input to Integrity Management plans, SCE, and Performance Standards definition and verification for the BLP.
Establish and maintain excellent communications with the Ops Readiness & Assurance Manager, liaising as necessary with the operations team on and offshore.
Full involvement in topsides process design to ensure operability and efficiency.
Provide input to design & constructability reviews; start-up and shutdown requirements; pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures; and updates to the operating procedures.
Work with other stakeholders to assist in delivery an integrated Asset plan, taking into account SIMOPS.
Work with Ops Readiness & Assurance Manager and Project Ops Team to identify and plan Operations training and competency requirements for the BLP.
Identify and plan pre-operations, commissioning and start-up manning requirements, utilising personnel from existing team as appropriate.
Ensure engineering information and documentation are fit for purpose and in line with Client and Project expected standards.
Participate in HAZOP's and SIL reviews as required.
Ensure that Human Factors are considered as part of the design to minimise risk of human error in operation.
Attendance at major equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT's).
